Seattle Jazz Composers Ensemble celebrates 5 years of community events and collaborations
with an anniversary party at the Royal Room. The first set will feature music from SJCE’s col-
lection of original works, commissioned throughout the life of the ensemble. The second set will
be a reading of new tunes by SJCE contributing composers.

Wed. 5/7/14, 8pm at The Royal Room. All ages, Pay what you can.

Featuring music by: Samantha Boshnack, Beth Fleenor, Kate Olson, Michael Owcharuk, Josh Rawlings, Jim Knodle, Tim Carey, Evan Flory-Barnes, Charlie Smith, Naomi Siegel, Paul Kemmish, and more.

The band:  Beth Fleenor (clarinet); Samantha Boshnack (trumpet), Kate Olson, Brian Bermudez, Chris Credit (woodwinds); Michael Owcharuk (piano), Tim Carey(bass), and Kyle Doran (drums).

**Part of the proceeds from this meal will be going back to Bushwick's programs**

The cost of the full meal (entrée, salad, and dessert) is a bargain at $25 per person. We would like to get a count of how many Bushwick fans are interested in purchasing the full meal so we can be prepared in the Royal Room kitchen.

Book Larder (Seattle's Community Cookbook store) will be on-site to sell cookbooks and the wonderful Molly Wizenberg herself will be in the room (and I bet she will be happy to discuss food, books, music, blogging, podcasts, or anything else you can think of).

This will be an amazing night of music, food, drinks and books. Please join the Bushwick crew in our first time performing songs inspired by a cookbook.
