Hey folks! I am very happy to be music directing and performing in Cafe Nordo & Sgt. Rigsby’s co-production of Christmas is Burning! A hilarious, dark, sci-fi filled night of dinner theater. It runs Thursday through Sunday until Christmas Eve and 2 last shows on the 29th and 30th.
It’s getting dark and rainy here is Seattle and we are all gearing up for our Holiday celebrations. Looking forward to playing quite a few holiday gigs like performing solo piano at the Rainier Club. Only 2 public shows this month. Catch me at the Musiquarium with the mighty Kate Olson and my usual stand at the Seamonster with Michael Owcharuk Presents. September and October are looking really swell! Performing The Billy Strayhorn Project again with Tyrone, Nate, and Jacques at Bumbershoot. And I am so stoked to be going on a East Coast and West Coast tour with heavy-pop-psych innovators Truly!
Summertime is here and I get to play outside! Hope you are getting out and enjoying the sun. Afterwards come in and cool off with some music. This month I am excited to be performing with the Kate Olson Ensemble, Beth Fleenor, and the Boom Boom Band. See ya out there!
“The Upward Spiral” by Daniel Papke
February and March are proving to be quite exciting! A new production of the play Savage/Love opened at the Pocket Theater featuring a new score I wrote for solo Double Bass performed by the glorious Carmen Rothwell. I’ll be officially releasing a limited edition CD of String Quartet #1: The Upward Spiral featuring specially commissioned cover art by Daniel Papke. Working on a new dance project with Karin Stevens Dance. Lot’s of gigs on the calendar, lot’s of good times to be had. Hope to see you out there!
