Drawing on the record Mingus Play Piano (he was a great pianist too!) you'll here solo performances of all kinds of Mingus works performed by Jovino Santos Neto, Ryan Burns, Tim Kennedy, and yours truly. |

| Other Info | 14/48: Kamikaze was already not for the faint of heart. It wasn’t enough to make 14 world premiere plays in 48 hours – we had to tell artists they wouldn’t even know whether they would be a writer, actor, director, designer, or musician until they arrived. And even THAT wasn’t enough, because we’re doing it again, but IN THE ROUND! 14/48: Kamikaze is our one festival that is all about the veterans. Every participant has weathered the creative storm of 14/48: The World’s Quickest Theater Festival, and is ready to take their game to the next level. Artists arrive on Thursday night having no idea what the weekend will hold. Musicians end up acting, directors are designing costumes, and barely literate actors are trying to write scripts. Somehow, the shared challenge brings the community even closer, taking big risks to serve up fourteen world premiere plays to Seattle’s bravest and most loyal theater audience. |

Expect intense currents of bethnic chanting, propelled by the ferocious beating of the Boom Boom… The Boom Boom Band features Tristan Gianola (guitar) Michael Owcharuk (keyboard) PK (bass) Adam Kozie (drums) *Crystal Beth is a psychoactive stimulant that increases alertness, concentration, and energy, and in high doses, can induce euphoria, enhance self-esteem, and increase libido. |
