I am very excited to once again be a part of The Piano Starts Series curated by Wayne Horcitz and Tim Kennedy at the Royal Room. Jan 21 we will be performing the music of one of my absolute favorites: Charles Mingus. Virtuoso Bassist and one of the great American composers. Drawing on the record Mingus Play Piano (he was a great pianist too!) you'll here solo performances of all kinds of Mingus works performed by Jovino Santos Neto, Ryan Burns, Tim Kennedy, and yours truly.
